I disagree with her about tantrums for example:

"your reaction to the ensuing tantrum must be the same. The goal is to teach him to stop screaming,"

no, not chez filly.

Oh crikey! I didn't even read the site, just watched the video! Opps, should have been more specific and say that the video explains the reason I home ed, especially at the end when it goes on about how all our children are unique and all have their own strengths type thing.

The site is not my cup of tea either. I have never been one for trying to "tame" my children

We are very into taming them. They were a bit funny about the bull-whip at first, but they've got used to jumping when we crack it now. I just hate it when they leave hair on the furniture..

I do think the goal in tantrums is to stop screaming. By the time I have, they've usually got bored and gone off to do some colouring..

god i do wish, just once, I could be sent to my (MY?) room and not allowed to come out for oooh, an hour or two
