Home education in Northern Ireland

Hi, I am home educating my 5 year old son and would love to meet up with other home ed families. I live in County Armagh, Northern Ireland.

Hi Saracen. Thanks anyway for responding. Yes I have tried and am a member of HEDNI. Have posted twice on this site with no replies yet!! Perhaps it's early days as I haven't that long registered.

hi truth. i cant even get hedni to accept me lol. maybe because i said i was thinking about it and not actually doing it. im fairly close to you. how are you finding it?

I'm on the Down/Armagh border with a 3yo DS. I've looked at HedNI but it didn't seem very active. Is it all abuzz and I've just missed it?

Hi mrsgeorgemichael all going well with my 5 yr old son. I am so pleased I've found someone else from northern Ireland. I have been home ed 3 months now. He was initially in p1. He started school age 4-5yrs,he hated it. I felt he was too young. He is happier now learning at home. Are you thinking about it yourself.?

Hi Iworrymyselftosleep. Love the name,applicable to me to at times!! Glad to have found someone else from northern Ireland. I tried hedni and am a member. Have arranged go to an art/craft class Ties through a post on hedni website. Yes it doesn't seem to be a very active site. Have you been home schooling long,how are you getting on?
