We've been discussing this on the EO home education single parent list, but I thought it might be of some interest here as well.

I've added more links and info on my Hesfes Workshop web page about how the UK benefit system will operate in future, particularly with regard to the Bedroom Tax, the Benefit Cap, the new payment to replace Disability Living Allowance, and Universal Credit, with quite a bit of detail about proposed Universal Credit regulations for the self-employed (to replace Tax Credits)

Noticed in the states home schoolers get a rebate. will parenst get that here as self emplyed home educator. seems wrong that theres no financial support.
