What's the LEA-involvement situation with flexi-schooling?

We have been flexi-schooling for a while now and I'm wondering if a visit/contact from the LEA is on the cards. I know that they have no jurisdiction over full-time HE'ers but does anyone know if it's the same for flexi-schoolers?

depends where you are as to whether the LA considers it should be asking you about the educational provision you make for the time during which your child isn't at school.

there is no national consistent standard or recommendation, even within a single country.
