South Wales Hedders?

I've had a long break from Mumsnet (don't ask! ) but I'm back for this topic only.

My dd is 2 and I'm really hoping to home-ed.

Anyone in the South Wales area here who might like to connect? When I looked into education otherwise years ago for my son there were lots of local groups and families but now, not so much. Yet I sense you are all out there somewhere!

I'd even love to set up a little group in the Valleys area doing activities and trips. Join me!

Glancing at the message history there, SWHEN seems to have got far less busy in the last year, but I can't imagine the actual numbers of people home educating have dropped so dramatically fast. So I am guessing that probably some new forum has sprung up somewhere which lots of them have switched to? Still, it could be a good place to start making contacts.

Saracen is right SWHEN (south wales HE network) is no longer in existance. SWWHE (south west wales HE network) is now called EHEW (Elective Home Educators Wales) - yahoo groups

No difference accept that the new moderator of the list wanted to stamp her identity on it (thats the impression I get anyway!)
