I saw that. Comments from 'the expert' afterwards weren't too bad, although I disagreed completely with the suggestion that it would work only with children who were self motivated to begin with.

If that were true, it would never have worked with our three, who'd lost all motivation for anything after their time in school! Unschooling/Autonomus HE allowed them to take the time to rekindle enthusiasm for things they were interested, leading to a regaining of their love of life and learning.........and self motivation for self directed learning!
