I’m looking for a light and a rug that make an impact and what’s in the shops is boring

Hi I’ve got quite a large dining room and want a nice rug and lamp that is a bit edgy . I’m so bored of what we have in shops locally . Any ideas ?

would you prefer wool or another natural material like coir or jute? Or are you happy with synthetic?

We have this under our dining table. Went for the all in one and glad we did for chairs moving on it. doesn't fit in my machine but have taken it to the launderette twice when there were big spills!
