Where can I buy better outdoor furniture cushions?

I’ve recently bought some new outdoor furniture but the cushions they come with look really cheap and thin - does anyone have any recommendations for companies that sell the cushions separately to the actual furniture please ?

Thank you

Do you mean scatter cushions or the cushions you sit on?

Cushions that you sit on - the ones that came with ours look really cheap

I’ve never seen replacement cushions. Could you buy some better foam and replace the filling?

That's why when we were choosing our outdoor furniture I insisted on buying stuff with really decent seat cushions (so much of what was available looked cheap and nasty!)

The corner sofa we bought has seat cushions that are 15cm deep and whilst the dining chair cushions are thin, being Gloster they are fab quality and look like new eleven years on.

If you otherwise like your furniture - and I guess you do - I'd replace the cushions completely with better (thicker?) foam, covered in good quality outdoor fabric like Sunbrella. That's the type of fabric I'll use if ours ever wears out.

Tbh it was DH who ordered the furniture, I wouldn’t have got it as the cushions are so thin and I don’t like the colour either lol

I will look into the Sunbrella fabric thank you

It’ll probably cost more than the furniture cost in the first place to get cushions that fit properly. Is it too late to return?

The range have quite a few. It's whether they are thick enough.

A quick Google search came up with a number of sites offering them already made. Mmm

There is also https://cushionguys.co.uk/replacement-cushions-for-outdoor-furniture-a-guide/. Their guide might be helpful. Good luck!

I would buy some big bits of furniture stuffing foam, just wrap them in some jolly material and put them under the existing thin cushions. So you have two layers of cushions. You should be able to by the foam cut to size.

Like this, but there’s probably someone near you who does furniture refurb/upcycling.
