NC. The tiles are beige and staying, the worktop is fairly neutral. Flooring can change (I want to change it anyway)
walls are polished pebble

trying to choose a colour for having the kitchen sprayed. It’s open plan so attached a pic of the living room which is a mix of blues and greens
I really like De Nimes and the flooring in this inspo pic… any other ideas? Not sure if it will be too dark

That looks really nice. It's so great that you can get the tiles sprayed too.

I think this floor is too busy, too…….. patterned…

I much prefer De Nimes to Mizzle as the cabinet colour. But I'm biased as we have our bedroom colour-drenched in De Nimes estate emulsion and eggshell - it's a beautiful saturated shade that's a bit less predictable/safe than Mizzle imo.

Spraying the tiles sounds like a good shout, as your existing beige ones will look even worse once the cabinetry is a different colour.

I love the idea of the patterned floor, but not so much how it looks in the chat gpt mock up. I wouldn't let that deter you as I'm sure you can find some vinyl flooring that's more like that in your inspo pic - perhaps one that has some blue? Hope you come back and share the finished room OP!

I do agree with other posters that the floor on the mockup is very busy but the floor in your inspo picture is much nicer.
You need to think do you want a calmer or more energetic space. For me I would go with pigeon and a plain flooring as I love very calm spaces. But other people would find that boring. De nimes is also beautiful, a bit more energetic and with a busy floor it is not restful.
The rest of your decor looks fairly calm so I think the de nimes with a much plainer floor would suit perfectly as the floor wouldn't take attention away from the beautiful de nimes and you are much less likely to tire of plain flooring.

Yes I’m thinking less patterned, maybe like a marble type effect? I do love grey as I find it calming so might go for a grey/white mix as my carpet is grey too

Marble type effect would be really nice, grey goes well with de nimes, light grey

Can I just say your home looks beautiful and cosy

I am having this exact conversation as we are having our kitchen sprayed in 3 weeks! They gave us a sample of DeNimes and it came up much lighter than I expected. I am having the worktops wrapped in vinyl as well to change that and the backsplash/tiles done as well. If you are really specific with ChatGPT it will do your kitchen without changing the layout (first time it moved the window?!) and you can get an idea of what it looks like but I would recommend getting a sample as well.

I am going with Stiffkey Blue.
