Replacing a section of Karndean floor tiles. Nothing matches, so suggestions to contrast or complement terracotta

A long time ago, nearly 25 years to be accurate, we put down a Karndean floor in a terracotta colour. An area has worn out, and I want to replace a section about 6 x 4 feet with something that tones, but everything in the right thickness is completely the wrong colour. Do I have to wait until the fashion changes?

Have you looked on eBay/Facebook marketplace to see if anyone is selling tiles? Might be worth a look

Tile it so it looks like a rug? Even if you have to take a few extra tiles up.

Something with a geometric pattern?

Can you swap the worn tiles for some under furniture or in a dark corner? If it’s by the front door replace with a coir mat?

Thanks for all the ideas. I did buy extras, 23 years ago, but I used the majority to tile the cloakroom and sadly, Karndean have nothing even slightly similar in tone in their current range. I think it's going to have to be the "rug" approach so I've ordered some samples to see if I like the look of anything.
