Why do all the interior design videos put the bed against the wall - how do you get up for a wee?

Seriously tho' what terms should I put in to search for tips on furniture/layout etc with 2 adults in a bedroom

No one puts the bed against the wall unless the room is too small to fit it otherwise, surely.

It's to make more "space" either that or they put the bed on legs - I'm too old to climb to bed

I just want nice videos with interesting storage or layout ideas

does anyone have any videos or search words I can use

You must be searching for “ideas for small bedrooms” or teen bedrooms or something, because most adult bedroom designs do not have beds against the wall.

Try “small bedrooms for couples” maybe?

I've never seen this in anything but the smallest of bedrooms either.

In our third bedroom we do have the (double) bed against the wall, but only because we have a super king in our second bedroom whilst the largest bedroom is our TV room. We're hopefully going to upsize again at some point, so didn't want to part with our lovely antique Art Nouveau double bed!

Just google 'master bedroom makeover' - none of the ones I've looked at put the bed against the wall.
