I have 6 bedding sets to buy 😩
all the teens want different colours which I can get from M&S, dunelm or next

but looking for something white and good quality for the master & guest rooms

where is the best place for something that will wash well, not need ironing & not go yellow

Costco for our last few sets of white, high thread count Egyptian cotton. Great quality, quite heavy.

White 100% linen set from Ikea, H&M, or if you don’t mind splurging then Secret Linen Store

Soak and Sleep French linen gets my vote

I say that after buying Piglet in Bed and Secret Linen sets recently.
Linen or linen blend is fab.

That exact set is on my bed. It’s like sleeping under a beautiful cloud. I’m ridiculously happy with it and keep boring people over my love of linen duvet covers 🤣🤣

Ikea?

Iamthemoom · 16/07/2025 08:40

My John Lewis and Orla Kiely bedding has lasted the longest. Though John Lewis silk pillowcases has fallen apart after a couple of years but the Egyptian cotton is still going strong after ten!

Ikea?

Second IKEA. I’ve got Ikea bedding sets that are 25 years old and still look great!!!

familyissues12345 · 16/07/2025 08:41

We’ve had some good sets from IKEA, but have also had a couple that weren’t so great. Dunelm is pretty good too

Bedeck

LindorDoubleChoc · 16/07/2025 08:42

La Redoute, M&S and Dunelm.

Gagamama2 · 16/07/2025 16:13

La Redoute’s 100% linen sets are lovely. The linen is washed and already soft. Ikeas linen is good quality but takes a while to soften up. Once I went linen I never returned to any other material for sheets and duvets….its so good. Light and cool but sort of expensive feeling

Ginisatonic · 16/07/2025 17:00

I love Rise and Fall but I do think it needs ironed.

ByQuaintAzureWasp · 16/07/2025 17:12

Marks and Spencer or The White Company

printerjam · 16/07/2025 17:28

You anywhere near a Boundary Outlet? Fantastic bargains on Christy, Sanderson and lots of others.

BKBH · 16/07/2025 20:17

Rise and fall for sheets and pillowcases
Fine bedding company night lark coverless duvets for duvet. Absolutely life changing!

I’ve found myself replacing White Company bedding just because I fancy a change after years and years, not because it’s worn out.

That said, I swear by using Vanish White to keep sheets and towels white from the outset rather than waiting until they’re discoloured. (Back when I used to get service washes, the woman at the laundrette remembered me as the one with the really white sheets. One of the best moments of my life.)

That made me smile. My Mum used to take huge pride in being the one with the whitest nappies on the line when my little sister was a baby.

caringcarer · 16/07/2025 20:20

Look for Egyptian cotton with very high thread count.

I'llBuyThatForADollar · 16/07/2025 20:21

Dunelm. Not even the fancy range. Their standard ones are excellent quality. Paid for expensive ones in the past and they don’t stand the test of time and ratty after 2-3 years.

mondaytosunday · 16/07/2025 22:36

Amazon

TizerorFizz · 16/07/2025 22:38

White Company, Designers Guild, John Lewis or M&S.

littlejo67 · 16/07/2025 23:02

Secret linen for your bed. Linen is so much nicer than cotton. M&S or JL for the teens..

Jk987 · 16/07/2025 23:09

TK Maxx

I buy Dorma bedding from Dunhelm. Presently I have a plain white set and a white trimmed with navy set . Very good quality and wears well .
Fitted sheets I buy from Rise and Fall . Lovely cotton deep fitted sheets which are elasticated all the way round and don’t try to escape off the bed 🤩. They are pricey at about £55 for a double but worth every penny.
