How often do you buy fresh flowers for the home?

Treated myself to some fresh flowers yesterday as I have found some lovely tulips at a reasonable price at the supermarket - £4. I hesitated when I saw them but then gave in and now they are making me so happy I wonder why I don't do this more often. Part of me feels it's a bit wasteful and wonder how often do people buy fresh flowers for the home?
This is very much a one off for me, I usually only have them on occasions when they are gifted to me, for example bday and anniversary.

Every week.

i get big bunches of roses, hydrangeas or tulips depending on the time of year.

I got a monthly flower subscription for my birthday. I love it.

As it is daffodil season and they are cheap, each week, in the summer we get flowers from the garden as we have loads.

i buy daffodils, tulips and hyacinth bulbs this time of year - the daffs and tulips last about a week so good value IMO - I do different tulips colours - currently a light pink which is nice - had yellow last week and white week before
Hyacinths still smell nice but grow very leggy so not sure if lack of sunlight is problem or inferior bulbs!
I'll buy cut roses in the summer and sunflowers once they are in season
