Heal's sofa - worried about terrible delivery reviews

We've been looking for a new sofa and really like the Heal's Eton sofa, but I checked the reviews on Trustpilot and there seems to be a big issue with delivery - mainly late or damaged/faulty items, and customer service being very unhelpful with these delivery problems.

I really want to order it but am I being an idiot? Please can anyone share experiences of Heal's delivery and service? Thanks!

Hmm. A timely email. My experience is - not great. I waited in all day Monday and then got an email asking me to book a delivery...??
We ordered in November.

I love Heals delivery! They delivered my sofa and chair on time and they even took my old sofa away for free.
They also unwrapped the furniture and took away the waste. When I had a table from them they assembled it then took the packaging away after complementing my colour scheme and my cats. Frankly they are welcome any time in my house.

Bear in mind that customers are more inclined to post reviews when something has gone wrong, so it's not necessarily a fair representation of the service

We had a heals sofa delivered about five years ago but I remember the delivery being outsourced to a company called Atlas. They did a fantastic job though and our sofa is wonderful quality.

I remembered another detail but as I'm gay it wasn't very important to me but you may need to factor it in to your decision: the young gentleman were very handsome as well as charming. Bounced right by me!
