Replacing En-Suite

Builder is booked in February half term to redo our en-suite, it's 20 years old and really needs it. We've chosen a B&Q bathroom set, I was going to go for the grey but now am thinking the soft pink could be nice? With a green subway tile in the shower. If the rest of the room is an off white I think they could match and not clash on each other? The furniture would be along one wall, the shower tiles the other? I've wanted the tiles for a long time but annoyingly ToppsTiles have stopped the exact green I wanted though this alternative works well too I think?

Wall the furniture sits on is 1700 so am thinking a 200 single door unit, 500 toilet unit, 600 sink unit and 300 single unit with a further 300 single unit above it on the wall. Storage has always been a problem so this should give us a decent amount.

The other wall will have a 1400 shower on it.

Ooh I love your new bathroom l, very art deco colourway especially with the green times. I'm moving house soon so looking for inspiration for the big renovation job we have.

That's lovely. Also, my whole en suite would fit in your shower 😂

Thank you, hopefully only another few days of sofa sleeping ...

The tiles are from TilesDIY and are called Green Heritage.

Oof your tiles look amazing!

PrawnDrench · 23/02/2025 22:01

I love the green tiles! Would love to see how it all looks once the builder has finished. The bathroom looks a lot bigger already.

I almost preferred the shower without the door but needs must ... 😂 Second side of the door goes on tomorrow.

Little units have gone in, mirror tomorrow. Big bit to the side has to stay blank because the door needs to open

@MiniCooperLover Love an update, thanks for sharing (even though I'm jealous of your new bathroom)

Builder did a brilliant job to finish today (mind you he's on another job tomorrow 😂) a couple of small decorating jobs for me (skirting boards, windowsill) and nice blind to go back up, bin in etc but basically done and so pleased with it 👍

Superb.

Abracadabra12345 · 28/02/2025 15:27

That looks really lovely, I'm glad you went with what you loved instead of neutral grey. What blind do you have?

MiniCooperLover · 01/03/2025 10:13

Thank you. A couple of tiny finishing off bits that the builder is back to sort out today, he's got a couple of bits to sand on the wall and repaint and then I'll put the blind up which is a white Venetian so that'll finish off the window area. 👍 I've put a nice eucalyptus candle in and a plant for a bit of greenery
