Does anyone know where I can sell almost brand new furniture?

I am unexpectedly moving abroad and have quite few moderately expensive furniture pieces to sell and an expensive American fridge freezer that is only 2 years old. All the furniture is in immaculate condition hence I am reluctant to use Facebook marketplace as I won’t even get a third of the price I paid for it on there. Does anyone know of any other websites or perhaps companies I can use? Maybe some home staging companies ? Thanks

Yes. EBay. Not great if you don’t have an account and feedback already but give a good description and offer cash on collection.

I’m sorry to say I highly doubt you’ll get more than a third of the price for furniture no matter the condition unfortunately.

It is so much hassle and you will hardly get any return probably about 20% of what you paid. The market is flooded with stuff. If you really decide it is not worth selling BHF will collect.

Furniture isn't worth that much second hand, no matter where you sell it. It's the having to pick it up, I think.

What colour is it?
I've looked at 2nd hand ones and they're usually either grey (noooo) or ugly.

I agree that unless it's particularly special (designer etc) then you probably won't get more than a third regardless - you're best off putting it on fb or gumtree because you're most likely to find a buyer locally, arranging transport is too much of a hassle otherwise.

It is a lovely sofa but I too think you’d be doing well to get a third of the price back. Not many people can transport a sofa and it’s to harder finding a man with a van. I buy stuff off gumtree and there are lots of bargains out there so stiff competition. Fridges don’t always move well, I had an expensive fridge that never worked properly after a house move. I mean I’d still buy something second hand but it’d need to be cheap enough that if it died I’d not be too upset about it.
