What colour vinyl flooring to match an all white bathroom and birch cupboards?

We're not replacing anything else but the flooring. The current rubber flooring is a lovely sage green, but it's not available anymore. The birch cupboards take up one small wall (that you don't immediately see on entering the small bathroom). The rest is white. White. White. White.

So, I'm wondering whether to go soft (a mild grey) or dark (blue or olive green).

I don't want it to look too cold or too zingy, hence avoiding cool blues, yellow, a pistachio green (as this is now the offering for block colour vinyl and rubber).

Thanks!

I'd keep it neutral then zing it up with colorful towels and mats.

Thanks! Would you consider a slate grey versus a mild, very light grey?

We have grey tiles with white fittings. Looks great. Not as dark as slate though.

We have a dark bathroom floor and I wouldn't again

It shows every spec of dust.. I had no idea how much white dust comes off toilet rolls until this went down.

That's really interesting. That's what my husband said, too. That would drive me mad! I'm going for the neutral, very light grey.
