Squishy, well made sofas that keep their shape!

After a couple of dud sofa purchases over the past few years (money down the drain), I've decided we probably need to spend a little bit more for long term gain!

I'd like 2 comfy sofas that you can sink into but with cushions that hold their shape - so they don't look saggy after a couple of months.

It's a bonus if they are easy to clean and the covers can be removed.

Does anyone own a sofa that matches this description and can make a recommendation?

Tetrad are traditional construction so you can reupholster when the fabric goes out of style or you want to modernise it.

the base is springy but i suppose not as squishy as cushions would be - but these sofas usually have quite a deep seat as there are no cushions at the back so i have lots of large squishy cushions at the back and sides to sink into. I would never buy a sofa with ordinary cushions base and back again.

Our M&S one is only now starting to show signs of wear and tear after 13 years! Still not enough wear and tear to replace and still the most comfortable sofa I've ever sat on.
