Dusk Ottoman beds

I'm looking for a new bed & the Dusk Ottoman beds keep coming up in my search - does anyone have one?

Good or bad reviews?

We have one, have had it about a year. I've got absolutely no complaints, it was fairly straightforward to put together, very comfortable and it still looks as good as new

I couldn't say as I never got them.

Bought 2 in sale. Didn't dispatch. Was told courier company lost them. I contacted the courier off my own back who told me dusk were lying and they never recieved them.

Relayed this back to dusk who said it was a clerical error and they'd not in fact been lost by courier, but are in their warehouse.

Told me SIX times they would dispatch the next day.

I ended up demanding a refund as this went on for 6 weeks with my kids sleeping on the floor.

Went with a different company who delivered lovely wooden ottoman the next day!!

Have a look at their 1 star reviews on trust pilot.

Just had a look on trust pilot! There is a huge mix of reviews just from the last 24 hours - looks like it might be the beds there is an issue with!

I'll have a look round & see what else I can find!

Does anyone have any recommendations for anywhere else?

I have some decorating to do so not in a rush!

That's where I got my 2 ottomans from, delivered next day.

My mum swears by dusk. Their bedding etc and never had an issue so seems really luck of the drawer with them.

It was the lying that was the worst from Dusk, they promised me my item was on the way multiple times.

Love ours, and usually really like Dusk for bed linen. The bed was a nightmare for delivery though, took months. Great price if you don't mind the wait.

We've got a cream fabric one and my only complaint is the head mark where DH insists on sitting up in bed and not using a pillow to protect the fabric 🙄

I love ours. Have had it about six months. Arrived when they said it would, looks great and is v comfy. Storage is brilliant!

This is it in a nutshell.

If nothing goes wrong, you are grand.

If you need anything from them, you are screwed. We were sent a legless sofa. After literally days of trying to contact them, they dispatched legs, all separately and none of them matched. None.

And they sent no bolts and there was no instructions so we couldn't buy our own bolts. After more days of trying the contact them...they sent five Allen keys.

Their facebook is littered with comments saying that people are trying to get in contact with them and they just post 'I can see customer service have been in touch with you' and it's just a lie.

The Trust Pilot reviews are very odd! The 5 Star reviews all have a response from the Customer Service Team, thanking people, the 1 Star reviews or people saying they have a problem are just ignored!

I’d take Trustpilot reviews with a grain of salt. It’s often the case that people are more motivated to write reviews when they’ve had a negative experience, while positive experiences tend to go unshared. That said, I do check reviews on Trustpilot myself, but always with this in mind.

I recently ordered a bed, bedding, and a mattress, and while it’s been a week without dispatch, I’ve spoken to friends who’ve had nothing but great things to say about the quality and service. I’m prepared for a slightly longer delivery time though, as DUSK seems to have grown hugely popular over the past year, especially in recent months with all their deals and savings. Clearly, demand is high!

@LoyalNavyEagle did the bed arrive? Trying to figure out whether to take the plunge or not!
