Hello! We're in the market for a new sofa. Our beloved Multiyork has been with us for nearly 10 years, and we're keeping that for our new lounge. But we need a suite for a family room at the back of the house. Probably a two and a three-seater.
We've sat on quite a few sofas. Sofas & Stuff's range is gorgeous, but it is too low for my bad back, and although it looks well-designed and of high quality, it just feels a bit too traditional for us.
Next, M&S and DFS are all offering decent, affordable options, but again – nothing is really standing out. We did consider BoConcept, but it doesn't have enough of a range of colours or materials. We've been to John Lewis and sat on a few of their sofas, but again – they are too low, and I'm not so sure about the quality.
Taste-wise, we love the mid-century modern style of sofas. Something a bit more contemporary and clean-lined. Swyft looks great, but anything we've tried feels too uncomfortable. I am so fussy!
So, we keep visiting the Darlings of Chelsea website. And drooling over its Mid Century Sofas range. We're in love. They're just what we've been looking for. We're considering the Darwin, the Brighton or the Exmouth sofas. All stunning. Has anyone had any experience with this company? We're based up North, and any of its showrooms are miles away. There's a Black Friday sale on right now, so we'd get a decent discount. I don't want to risk without trying, but...
