Curtains to go in living room with yellow walls

We want to change curtains rather than walls. But not sure which colour would work

What colour is the furniture? Cream works, reds, blue, terracotta, brown. What do you like?

Cream works with almost anything.

Well I like red really but think that would be too much. Wondered about grey maybe. Cream sounds quite good

We have pale yellow in our kitchen with cream units. We add a few splashes of red ornaments and red kettle/toaster. I think it works.

We also have a pale yellow bedroom with one burgundy feature wall behind the bed, but would probably be too much for a living room. Our living room is pale yellow too with dark wood beam over the fireplace and quite dark parquet floor. We have light beige curtains with a dark brown panel.

That looks lovely honeyroar. We have inherited a lot of yellow walls from previous owners. And I do quite like it it is a nice sunny colour. But never had it before so trying to work out what goes with it

Thanks. It’s a bit grubby now, needs redoing. It’s an old cottage with thick walls and mullion windows, so we used the yellow because it’s sunny and brightens things.

Green, patterned, maybe with leaves or flowers.

We used to have gold curtains with very pale yellow walls. This was purely accidental as I was given the curtains after painting the walls but actually it went oddly well.
