That white hotel bedding with the stripes?

WeedSmellDramas · 22/06/2023 21:49

Do you know what I mean?

I'd love my bedding to just be 2 sets of that.

Really thick white cotton and it has a wide stripe almost like the cotton is in 2 directions/weaves.

If you happen to know a good place to buy it - Or if it has an official name - then I'd be really grateful to hear.

Thanks so much. ☺️

They sell it in the range

UneasyMe · 22/06/2023 21:53

Ikea 😁

theemmadilemma · 22/06/2023 21:59

If you want the comfort you need the high thread count, 400 or more.

King of cotton
Sometimes it's even on offer

zeebra · 22/06/2023 22:07

I used to by this type of bedding regularly from homesense. It is made of cotton too.

Thereoughttobeclowns · 22/06/2023 22:11

I’m with you. We have only white bedding.

At the moment, we have sets from Jasper Conrann at JL, the White Company and Dusk.

Downside is that you have to replace relatively often. It doesn’t stay super white for that long. (Or not in our house. My husband does all the laundry and gleaming whites are not his thing).

uk based hotel quality bedding
I used the https://www.mitrelinen.co.uk/comfort-cairo-duvet-covers/p_gt770
in my holiday cottage and had lots of compliments on my bedding
they sell small quantities, you don’t have to buy 100 sets!

zeldamccoy · 22/06/2023 22:14

I got mine from Tesco, think it was the fancy range. Looks great

cheesenotoast · 22/06/2023 22:15

@Thereoughttobeclowns he needs to use Persil bio , and put it on an eco wash ( takes 3 hours , but it’s worth it )

PriamFarrl · 22/06/2023 22:15

I’ve bought from Out of Eden before which is an online hotel suppliers but they sell to regular people. But I’ve just bought a set from Soak and Sleep, it’s being delivered tomorrow, so I can’t comment.

PriamFarrl · 22/06/2023 22:16

Oh, and I’ve kept mine white by only washing white with white, and using napisan.

Hbh17 · 22/06/2023 22:18

White Company. And have it professionally laundered, as that will keep it feeling like hotel quality.

poppinpink · 22/06/2023 22:19

Next do it in a few different cotton count.

Loafbeginsat60 · 22/06/2023 22:20

I loved mine but it just didn't last with husbands stubble - it went grey quickly 😞

I've got pale grey and white stripes now and it has faired better

HashBrownandBeans · 22/06/2023 22:23

I have this in grey from IKEA and forest green from JSK

TokyoSushi · 22/06/2023 22:23

You can get it from loads of places, Asda to The White Company and everywhere in between. Often in their 'hotel' range.

bibbityboppityboo · 22/06/2023 22:24

White company or Soak and Sleep.

Only white striped bedding in this house and it's all still sparkly white despite cats (muddy paws will be the death of me!) and a DH who loves a bedtime snack.

Wash with whites only and vanish / white brighters and it's never dulled at all. Love getting into crisp white sheets!

JesusHRooseveltChristSassenach · 22/06/2023 22:24

We had beautiful white high quality bedding that after about 5 years of regular use was inevitably greying so we threw it in with a Dylon grey pod and 10 years on it looks good as new.

Not actually what you asked but thought I'd suggest it for future reference 😊

CarrieMoonbeams · 22/06/2023 22:25

White company here too.

SleepingisanArt · 22/06/2023 22:26

We have a set from amazon which is 1000 count so an absolute dream to sleep in! I just searched for hotel bedding.

TangBloodyFastic · 22/06/2023 22:41

Google satin stripe Smile

InSpainTheRain · 22/06/2023 22:42

John Lewis satin stripe hotel range with a high thread count.

cantwaittocruise · 22/06/2023 22:44

This thread is making me look forward to my holiday :)

Once you’ve found the linen that’s perfect it’s hard to go back to the usual stuff.

We hunted and tried many to match, but we settled on the Sheridan Range from House of Fraser’s…. 1000 to 1200tc. don’t pay full price though, it’s on sale about 5 times a year.

We bought a complete set, set us back a pretty penny, but 7 years on, it looks as good as new.

We tried the aforementioned by others, white co, Ikea etc, not amazon though…. Simply not in the same ballpark, in comparison to our requirement, which was, ‘that hotel feel’.
