What other colours do you have in the room?

My large square hallway is painted this colour and I'm trying to choose a rug.

There's no windows, so it's not the brightest of areas. Woodwork is white.

Any suggestions?

I absolutely love this colour. I see all different shades in it depending on the time of day, year and the light in the room. I had it in a hallway in a previous house where I had dark wooden boards, and white woodwork so all neutral stuff and I can't suggest colours. It's such a lovely neutral though, I think almost any colour would go with it. How about a kelim with a mix of shades?

For a neutral look, sisal or jute would look lovely. Or white, but that's not very practical for a hallway, but a white and grey/black berber would be forgiving enough. If you want to introduce colour, a mustard yellow looks good with grey, or stripes in light blue and coral red. Or dusky pink. https://www.rogeroates.com/gallery/rugs/switch-fraise-rug/
