Best place to buy garden furniture?

I have a small patio extending into a small garden. My garden furniture earlier was cheap and didn't last more than 2 years. I am trying to choose new furniture but I am really confused about where to buy from. Similar looking furniture varies from £300 to £3000. Any tips on where to choose from and any ideas on how you decorated small gardens please?

I once went through the same ordeal. What helped me was looking for pieces with weather-resistant materials like aluminum or teak.

As for where to buy, I found a fantastic range of options at this link. They had everything from budget-friendly to more premium selections.
For decorating small gardens, think vertical! Hanging plants or wall-mounted shelves can maximize space without crowding. Also, consider multi-functional pieces like a bench with built-in storage. It's all about making the most of your space while keeping it cozy and inviting.

I've bought some things from Moda which say they can be left out, rain or shine. So far so good

Habitat garden furniture is good. We bought a new set last month when Argos had 20% off.

It took a bit of searching online, comparing and schlepping around retail parks and garden centres to find what we actually wanted and how to balance that with regard to style and budget.

I'm happy with what we have chosen, just need the weather to go with it now!

Two places I’d recommend for quality v price ratio:

Whitestores which sells online but they have a few factory outlets selling further reduced sets

Maze Living sells similar sets to Whitestores but more expensive - I believe they have a showroom in Essex

Both sell through Next (at far higher price tags!)

I also love the Bramblecrest furniture you see in garden centres, but they’re quite expensive (although have come down in price since the pandemic).

We looked at a lot and settled on Whitestores. Beautiful quality- to replace the Argos set which has been underwhelming and was not even that cheap.

Would suggest avoiding IKEA as the prices are very high for what you get. Unusual for IKEA

I also like Habitat for things like garden chairs.

I found this site that has a few things I like but haven’t yet bought from them so can’t speak to quality, but seem to have some nice stuff that’s fairly affordable: https://www.sweeek.co.uk/

After years of cheap wooden furniture rotting quickly I bought a lovely table and chairs set from Cyan Teak, they're very solid and well made, I leave them outside all the time, give them a clean in spring, you can treat if you like but it's not necessary.

We have a stone topped table from Neptune and it is great. Leave it and forget about it (as it’s so heavy it’s not going anywhere).

We had a rope set from Hartman last year. The cushions are weather proof so can be left out in the rain. The water passes straight through them.
We covered it over with a heavy duty cover during winter but due to the wind/rain/storms it's spent more time falling off than staying on. Still looks great though.

We were finding it hard to get solid wood garden benches for sensible money. In the end we got quotes from a few local carpenters and went with one of them.

Realise this is a zombie thread but still relevant.

We recently bought a lovely set from gardenfurniture.co.uk (based in Yorkshire I believe).
Had looked at all the usual places (including our local garden centers) but nothing quite fitted the bill (plus grey is still very much in vogue).
Saw a set we liked online and followed the link, sounded ok from the description so we decided to go for it.
Good delivery, really happy with the look, comfort & quality so no problems recommending them. Not cheap but as with anything, you get what you pay for.
They have a wide range and deliver nationally so worth a look.
