Orla Kiely - is it naff?

Orla Kiely was always my go to "when I'm a grown up, I'll get that" thing that I aspired to. Mainly curtains and/or wallpaper.

Now I'm actually a grown up, I'm still tempted but worried I'm about 10-15 years late to the trend.

What do you think?

OP, if you like that mid-century, graphic look, but think the Orla Kiely stem is a bit over-exposed, there's a designer/maker on Etsy called Brona Donelly Design (not my business, I promise!) who specialises in curtains in those lovely sort of mid-century linens and prints. I'm in the middle of deciding on curtains - maybe she can help with other sorts of projects? Or just supply of fabric?

I love OK. It's easy to go overboard though. Those prints are best used judiciously.

Yes. I have some espresso cups my sister bought me; pillowcases in a fab, bright yellow for Spring (paired with plain, white bedding and a different mid-century, quilted throw- but I rotate with lits of different pillowcases) and, presently a dark green table cloth, which again gets changed. Perhaps the changeable pieces are the way to go?

I've an Orla Kiely tent, heavily discounted a number of years ago in Halfords at end of season, I love it.

I looked at bedding lately but it was quite expensive so went to The Range instead
And my bf's neighbour has OK curtains and I always admire them.

I'm Irish maybe that makes a difference to being naff or not?
