I have a huge (2m x1.5m) vintage metal cabinet that I want to sell. I think it’s maybe from the 1930s, some sort of filing cabinet, but not with drawers. It’s been stripped back to the silver but needs some TLC. There’s surface rust that could be removed or it could be distressed further. It seems to be fairly unique. Googling hasn’t revealed anything super similar, but I’ve seen comparable items going for at least £2000 (some for 8k!!)
I have absolutely no idea how to go about selling it! Any recommendations?? I want it gone fairly quickly. Don’t want to be ripped off but not looking to make a massive profit on it. It’s also incredibly heavy so would need some very strong people with a big van to take it away.
