Hi all, unfortunately I ordered a sofa online through DFS. Everything was perfect until today. We measured accordingly contacted DFS customer service to check that the measurements would accommodate the sofa and told them it was a first floor maisonette, advisor said it was fine and Would fit without issue. Waited around 5 weeks for delivery just for it to be attempted this morning by delivery drivers who said there was no possible way of getting it in and took it back.
Now I have to wait for someone to contact me to discuss what happens now.
Completely understand that it isn’t the responsibility of DFS to ensure my sofa fits. I’d just like to have an idea on what my options are from here and if anyone had a similar experience, what happened and was it resolved?
I’d be happy to pay extra to get the sofa disassembled and reassembled in my home if that something dfs is able to do.
This was done through finance just hope that I’m not tied into a contract where I’m paying for something I don’t have:(.
