What to do with this space?

This was meant to be my office space when I bought my new flat. As you can see it has become a dumping ground, as I'm back back in the office full time at the moment.

I do intend to clear it out and get back to using it when I eventually get the chance to hybrid work.

In the meantime, I'm wondering what to do to separate it off from my living room?

I don't think I want a full door on it. So do i put a nice curtain pole and voile panel over it? Or buy a folding divider that I can put across it when not in use? Something that I can maybe attach string lights to? Is that ridiculous?

Any suggestions welcome!

Same as what please?

Oops sorry thought I had quoted it in my message...the plantation style shutters

Thanks all.

I suppose I maybe just wanted something a bit more interesting than a door, but I'm probably overthinking it, as usual.

If I do get a door, it will be to match the existing living room door.

But I'm still not completely put off the idea of a wooden screen with lights attached!

Different idea, but I might line with bookshelves as much as possible (decorative books at the back where you see them) plus a mini fold down desk and light. you could also have big boxes of clutter on shelves at the top. that would make a 'reading nook' which would be decorative but also useful.

I would get a door curtain, hang it high so it reaches the floor, with a nice tie back to hold it back on the left next to the other wall. Some lovely William Morris prints out there in readymade.
