Low odour paint - is Farrow & Ball better or worse than Little Greene? What to use?

I’ve recently painted a chair with some Little Greene intelligent emulsion and compared to their primer, the smell was really strong and lingered for days. I have migraines so this was a nightmare even with all windows open.

Loved Earthborn in the past and was practically odour free, but couldn’t find the right colour and I need washable not claypaint, but I wondered how Farrow & Ball modern emulsion compares?

Looking back the Little Greene sample pots do have a strong odour but when painting sample patches it doesn’t notice as much and the sample pots from LG and F&B are the classic paint, not the washables so I imagine this may make a difference in odour.

What have you found the least stinking?! I do love Earthborn.

Anyone used Lakeland eco paint?

I don’t find farrow and ball to smell particularly, which is why I love working with them. I can’t have gloss in the house as I am too sensitive to it. You could try a nearby paint showroom?

Thanks Passanotherjaffacake good to know 👍 bit difficult to get to a stockist at the moment.

Hoping someone might be able to compare LG and Little Greene to Earthborn?

Switched to Lakeland Eco Paints about 7 years ago. Absolutely love them. Great colours, fabulous coverage, no nasty smell and last really really well. Just wish they weren’t quite so expensive.

Thanks so much overthehill. I might see if I can afford a few samples of Lakeland paint then
