Have you got wallpaper in your kitchen? - any ideas would be fantabulous

One of the walls in the kitchen has no cupboards or anything other than a radiator on it. The lady before us had some pretty grubby yellow/ brown/green wallpaper which we've stripped off. The units are now painted a mid- sage type of green and the oven is a bottle green so I guess we need to go with some kind of green but besides this I have no idea.

So, could anyone describe or post a pic of their wallpaper in their kitchen so I can get an idea of possible looks please?

Many thanks

Depends on your taste really and whether you want modern/traditional etc look.

We've got this on a wall in our kitchen.

I love it obviously Grin although you might not

I have this. I love it. Clearly it’s a bold look though.

@KendallRoysRabbit

thankyou that’s lovely ! I should have said it needs to be fairly traditional looking. I haven’t spent much time looking yet but nothing jumps out in the least as remotely nice. I don’t know where to look yet though. I will look for Harlequin papers. Merci very much

@Lemonblossom , hi thanks that’s amazing paper ! Wow! We’ve got quite a big kitchen- by the standards of what I’m used to - but it’s just for one wall. I’m not against a bold pattern but I think it would still need to look somehow traditional. This could be my dilemma. Can I ask where you were looking and where you got it from please ? Thanks

We're about to take the plunge and get some Lick wallpaper for our dull grey unit kitchen (we can't replace as it's great quality and more or less new). The designs are stunning and the floral ones especially are very 'extra'.

I'm not sure if your budget (and these are expensive), but I lust over Lewis and Wood wide width wallpaper

I’d take a look (you might need a whole day) on one of the wallpaper specific sites like wallpaper direct. They have thousands and you can filter by colour, style etc.

Mine was expensive. It’s Thibaut. They do some beautiful designs. My old kitchen wallpaper was also Thibaut. I had it inside all of the glazed wall units.

The Lick ones are gorgeous. Very 70s. If my house was a different style I’d have used one somewhere. They even do a paint your own for true personalisation

@notanicepersonapparently thanks for this. So do you need fewer rolls if they are wider ? Presumably each roll covers more surface area?

I think they sell it by the metre like buying fabric.
