What colour to paint feature wall or wallpaper with DFS FC Studio sofa in Ocean

Hi, I know the Zinc French Connection sofa was very popular but we have ordered the F C Studio 3 seater Sofa and two cuddlers in Ocean which is a teal colour. I am thinking of Egyptian cotton on 3 walls and then a feature wall colour or wallpaper on another and I need some ideas please, TIA

Hi, we are looking to get the same sofa, 3 seater in boucle fabric. How have you found your sofa? Is it wearing OK

Hi , well firstly we didn’t have any of the issues re getting the sofas as so many people seem to be having if you follow DFS on Instagram or FB. We have however noticed the seat cushions are 3cm less thick on the sofa than the two cuddlers. We have had them since early Oct and I am obsessive about turning the cushions every day as I fear they won’t look good on the sofa before too long and they do feel flimsy when you sit on them. We are going to go into the store sometime this week to let them know but based on complaints to DFS I don’t hold up much hope of them replacing the cushions and if they don’t, I’m not sure of the sofa looking good in a years time! Our old leather sofas we had from DFS in 2007 still looked good when we got rid and were built to last, these aren’t. I hope that helps you 😊

It's a minefield isn't it. There doesn't seem to be a consensus on any brand at the moment.

Apart from the money, I don't want the headache of choosing and replacing them every couple of years!

I haven't been able to get on the DFS site for weeks, maybe that's an Omen!!

I might look at Next/M&S??

Hi, it is a minefield for sure, those two options you mention I think would have better after care if you had any issues, I’m not holding out much hope on getting our cushions replaced as they are really flimsy, I’ll update this post if we do. Good luck 😊

It’s poor option, but you can get sofa cushions restuffed - if they’ve a zip at the back then the inner cushion isn’t hard to replace.

Yep we had thought that’s what we would probably end up doing as yes there is a zip at back of cushion 👍 Not that we should, but seemingly the quality of sofas from DFS is now not what it used to be 😕
