Are oversized duvets a thing?

Looking at lovely duvet sets on line - lots of pictures seem to show king size duvet set on double bed - looks generous - do people do this in real life?

King duvet on a queen bed here. Bare minimum.

For two people your best bet is two smaller duvets and then an oversized coverlet if you want the bed to look made. No more fighting over the covers.

We have a super king and have an emperor-sized duvet - it looks great very heavy to change.
