Ordered some made-to-order curtains from John Lewis. They are triple pinch pleat header and when they arrived I noticed that as well as the vertical stitching that obviously forms the pinch pleat, they also have some big stitches right through the pleat in a couple of places.
These look like something designed to hold the pleat in place and they're quite visible and not very attractive.
Am I meant to remove them?
(Realise that a photo would probably help, so will go to take one!)
