Can anyone recommend some shades that would fit the bill?

Farrow and Ball Blue Gray looks sage to me. If you wanted lighter then Mizzle is a lighter version of it.

Keiki · 06/03/2022 20:22

Dulux Willow Tree is a nice light green shade.

Bluelillies · 06/03/2022 20:25

We used Johnstone’s sage green but might be a bit too dark for what your looking for

SeptemberDreams · 06/03/2022 20:31

We have Green 09 by Lick in one of our bedrooms and really love it. I liked it because it has a yellow undertone so it is warmer than some other light greens can be.

JerkintheMerkin · 06/03/2022 21:49

Johnstones Natural Sage is lovely. It's the colour of my bedroom. Had lots of compliments and I love it.

jazzandh · 06/03/2022 21:51

F&B Mizzle (grey green / sage depending on aspect)

Getmeoutaherenow · 07/03/2022 07:27

F&B Bone came up as a light sage green in our north-facing room. F&B Light blue in an east-facing room gave a similar vibe.

BigSkies22 · 07/03/2022 08:14

Fired Earth Opal is very light (we had it mixed in a Johnson's base and it works very well in a north facing bedroom). F&B French Gray is actually (to my eye) a sage green. Darker than the Fired Earth Opal.

Dulux English mist - comes in different shades, 5 or 6 are the lighest:

Dulux willow tree is lovely but not that pale (and not really sage).

Davethecat2001 · 07/03/2022 21:37

F&B Mizzle

CombFromAShoe · 08/03/2022 09:02

Little Greene have lovely greens (and the paint is fab, prefer it to F&B). What about Boringdon Green?

theoctoalert · 08/03/2022 20:33

Little Greene have lots of lovely light greens.

Dulux Heritage sage green? Or is that too dark

LunaDeet · 08/03/2022 20:39

Crown - mellow sage is nice

CeriBerry · 08/03/2022 20:44

Wilko- think it’s called Whispering Sage

ScrambledSmegs · 08/03/2022 20:47

We've got Little Greene Tracery II in a north facing room, it's on the greener side of the green/grey spectrum but still quite cool. We tried a true pale sage green and it was too blue.

BergamotMouse · 08/03/2022 20:59

We found F&B old white was a very subtle green in our south facing room n

sageandbasil · 08/03/2022 21:04

Copenhagenoffice · 08/03/2022 21:17

Little Greene Acorn has yellow undertones so is very warm green

Pegasussnail · 08/03/2022 21:19

I used Crown Mellow sage a lot in the past and love it.

Babdoc · 08/03/2022 21:20

B and Q used to mix paint to any shade you wanted, OP. Don’t they still do this? It’s years since I’ve been in, but you could take in a swatch of fabric you wanted to match with a paint colour, or just photo a colour of wall you liked on your phone and take it in.
They also had long strips of shade cards in every colour, showing gradually increasing dilutions of each one, for you to select exactly the one you liked.

LittleNotSoLittle · 08/03/2022 21:23

@sageandbasil

Greene even! We've got it in our living room and nursery it's lovely
That's very pretty! Quite tempted to paint our very white front room in that colour. What colours would god with it? I'm useless with colours, what works and what doesn't.
whatatool · 08/03/2022 21:23

F&B Cromarty is lighter than Mizzle
