Ordering a new sofa

My old sofa is decades old and falling apart so I really need to order a couple of new sofas. I've looked at places like DFS and SCS and their customer feedback is just awful in terms of delivery time, aftercare and customer service.

I'm prepared to wait a few months but all I'm reading about is 6 months plus delay, poor communication, constantly changing delivery dates and non existent customer care etc etc

Has anyone had a good experience lately? Is there anywhere that can be recommended?

The sofa came on the date that was stated when ordering - delivery went well, unpacked and assembled by excellent young men!

I didn't get DFS to pick up and recycle the old sofas - it was £100 plus. Our local council does a bulky waste collection service for £15

Sofa is fine, as expected with no issues. All in all it was a good retail experience
