Farrow and Ball - is it easy to use?

Am planning on paining kitchen/dining room. Very large area. Looking at Strong white by F&B. Will be painting it ourselves to save on costs. Walls have had a mist coat of white emulsion. Is F&B modern emulsion easy to use? Have heard so many mixed reviews. Or should we get the colour mixed up in, say, crown extreme clean? Would be cheaper and more hard wearing, but will it be easy to apply?

Our decorator said F&B is terrible, too thin and runny, so we colour matched using Johnstone's trade and it went on really well.

The modern emulsion is brilliant. The others are for professional use really as they have to be finished and sanded.
I use modern emulsion all over my house. Two coats max and its done.

I love the finish and colour of farrow and ball modern emulsion and it's plenty strong and washable in high wear areas.

The only downside is that it does take an extra coat or two compared to other brands.

My DH says F&B is very good and he likes using it 🤷‍♀️

Agree with others, much prefer Little Greene. Definitely worth the money. Have tried colour matching, but went back to Little Greene, no comparison.

Little Greene and Fired Earth are my favourites.
