Master bedroom, struggling to design around blue bed? Pics!

I am trying to design my master bedroom and I'm struggling, I like the sort of relaxed scandi look but the issue is I have a royal blue bed already that dh is refusing to replace, it's in very good knick so I get it, trying to design around it?

The background of both pics is a wallpaper, I'm guessing with the monkey one I'd just do one wall, and then paint the other walls some sort of shade of off white?

The hessian wallpaper I could do all walls?

Do either of these work?

Help me! Option A (monkeys) or option B (beigey one)

Or something totally different? Gah

Or duck egg?

Are either of you good at diy? Shaker style panelling seems to be a thing behind bed now rather than a feature wallpaper wall.

Buy one of these and match the bed color and then see the options

The alternative is to look at cushions or designer bedding and see how the professionals match colour and pattern.

Example below - see the yellows and oranges are opposite and contrast where are the other blues could look awful.

If you are serious about liking scandi style I'd consider paper by Borastapeter ( a scandi brand). They are super pretty and come in both neutral and more lively colours.

Pint is the cheapest option, I would request wallpaper samples to go by the bed then choose a tone from the wall paper

Of those colors I prefer the blue

Oh I like AC13 of the ones you have painted. And I'd look for some fabrich that has that colour and the shade of the bed in, and get some cushion covers in it.

We have this paint with similar bed and carpet. Looks really light and airy which may not be what you’re after but I love it

To be honest I dont think your design looks Scandi at all. It's quite busy - but that's fine if that's what you are wanting. We have a similar dark blue bed and ended up painting the wall blue and having natural accents and linen bedding which gives a relaxed Scandi vibe despite the dark colour. See attached photo for a similar theme:

Can't remember where I saw it but it might have been Next Home, which uses the blue with a very bright fuschia (sp?) and gold. I'm no fan of pink but it's bloody stunning. Go google

Yes! LOVE Borastapeter as suggested by pp. my own suggestion: don’t do a feature wall. Wallpaper is both very now and very forever, if you go big or go home: wallpaper the whole room. Woodwork – skirting, windows, door, etc – in a blue or green that picks up on the wallpaper.
