Paint colour for hallway

Looking at paint choices for a hallway/ stairs/ landing...neither especially large or small, or dark. Just typical of a late Edwardian mid-size semi.

The downstairs has oak wood parquet floor and the upper floors have a silvery 'greige' sort of colour carpet. None of the adjoining rooms have very bold colours so clashing isn't especially an issue. Pale blues and greens etc.

We have F&B (well a copy of it) Skimming Stone in one bedroom which goes nicely with the carpet and is suitably neutral and I also like Elephant's Breath and Little Greene's French Grey. But I don't love any of these and think greys look a bit dated now.
I would be 'fine' with any of these and could jazz it up with nice lighting and pictures I suppose.
Any other suggestions?

Yes I have had modern emulsion in the past in a hallway and it was pretty hardwearing. I have used that in all rooms, even bedrooms as I can't see the upside of the standard paint compared. Is it more matt?
The Estate Emulsion is def more flat matt, yes - we have it in bedrooms and the living room. Gives a lovely finish, but hallway and kitchen in Modern are still pretty lovely IMO

Below are modern emulsion (left) and estate emulsion, both in artificial light. Think you can see the slight difference in sheen?

Dulux Timeless could be an option?

All fantastic suggestions. Thank you.

Have a look at Dulux Mellow Mocha. It’s a lovely warm neutral with a pinkish hue to it. It will look really nice with your flooring and with white woodwork it looks really fresh

We have F&B Wevet

I went fake Radicchio in a scrubbable matt!

We are just doing our hsl now and have gone for f&b Mizzle, the modern emulsion though, due to the traffic. There will be oak flooring in the hall and a warmish greige carpet up the stairs. Wanted to have a colour as opposed to a neutral as the lounge is pale grey and through dining room is elephants breath. Now we just need it actually doing (covid has delayed it twice)

This is actually what I used as a Peignoir dupe! Used in living room, 1890s cottage.

Totallyaddicted - same here with the decorator delays. Also the same with the oak floor and greige carpet...and I just painted a sample sheet of mizzle today.
Still undecided as it looks a bit brighter than I expected. Sigh.
