Just looking for some ideas!
Moved in a few months ago and it's in great need of decorating.
What colour are your living room walls and floor? Don't hesitate to post photos if you have them ☺

@StormBaby

Dead Salmon. It’s nicer than it sounds Grin
Bloody hell! I would hope so? Sounds awful, not great marketing!

Demin drift-I liked the colour so used it in the lounge
Then it seemed to pop up in people hallways and bedrooms for some reason

Ours is dulux Sapphire salute and cream. Have laminate floor at the moment but want a cream carpet

F&B Stiffkey blue - it’s cosy and a bit cave like for a room we only used to use in the evening but it’s now my workspace - so I’m needing to lighten it a bit.

F&B Middleton Pink. It's a east facing room and during the day it feels quite light and cool but when the lights go on in the evening it goes slightly peachy and is warmer. Similar to @TedMullins I've got a teal buttoned chaise in the sitting room which looks fab along with a dark tan leather sofa which looks fabulous against the pink.

I like red. It adds energy and livens up any living room.

Sparkai · 27/12/2021 23:39

Dulux cornflower white. It's very fresh, but calming in a small East facing room. It's a blue-y white, but with a hint of warm grey undertone so it looks modern and not just pale blue

Almond white. Quite boring but it's a small house and I don't think it would take a proper colour.

@Tardigrade001

White, more specifically Dulux White Cotton. One wall, sfter much deliberation, is blush pink - a pale, neutral, pinkish colour which seems to be very popular at the moment. Even though I try to avoid trends. Floor will be natural oak, currently grey carpet (which I hate).
Can you remember the colour of your neutral pink? I have a bedroom i want to do with just a hint of pink for warmth and everything I find is either too neutral or too pink

Pale primrose yellow with oak flooring and white skirting/picture rail/alcove shelves.
When I moved in it was beige with a deep red fireplace (all painted over wood chip!) and thin navy blue carpet tiles.

Dulux Crushed Aloe.

Skirting, doors/frames and beams are all Loft White. Walls are Portland Stone (both from Little Greene).

It’s an old cottage. Used to have whit walls and dark wood, which felt quite oppressive. It now feels really cosy and warm, I love it!

“Just Walnut” is a gorgeous shade. Look it up

My living room is pink and Green with blue sofas and throws (4 dogs). Absolute riot of colour compared to the majority of "grey with a hint of smoke" houses but I absolutely love it . I love that my home reflects my personality and that of my family so well. My kitchen is hot pink and turquoisey blue with a kind of "Day of the dead" Halloween theme all year around.
