Farrow and Ball paint

Am about to embark on some interior decorating. Can anyone tell me if Farrow and Ball paint is worth the cost (£67 a tin in my local B&Q 😱). It's an old house - small windows so the walls aren't bathed in natural light. They've also got quite an uneven finish in places which suits the character of the house. Not looking for perfection but happy to pay the extra if it's really that much better than dulux/crown?

I prefer Little Greene

I don't understand this colour-matching of expensive paints. It's never going to work because expensive paints are pigment-dense and produce a completely different finish. The joy, for me, of F and B is that it has such a depth and intensity which softens and changes in lovely ways as the light moves. Cheap paint doesn't do this. So what's the point in duplicating a colour only to have it look flat and lifeless.
