Does anybody have a mixture of anthracite and white radiators in the same room?

We're in the throes of a kitchen extension and I can't decide on radiators.

What I'd like is a vertical anthracite column style one by the anthracite sliding doors. Then, at the other side of the room, I'd like a more discreet flat panel one in white in what will be a sort of 'snug' area.

I just can't decide on whether the two contrasting colours and contrasting designs will look a bit odd?

Has anyone done anything similar?

Not quite the same but we are in the process of knocking down a wall and opening up the downstairs - we will then have the vertical anthracite radiator in the kitchen and a standard white radiator under the window in the living room. Unfortunately I won't have photos for a couple more weeks!

Thank you, I think I'll go for it.

I wouldn’t...but that’s just my opinion....we have raw metal traditional rads downstairs in every room and white traditional in all upstairs rooms....I think it just flows better ( we do have a mix or vertical and horizontal downstairs though)
