Are they worth it? Do they smell better than say a Yankee candle?

Clicked on this thread because I needed to know if they were worth it too 😊😊

@GuyFawkesDay

I'm really liking the sand & fog ones from TK Maxx. They smell great even unlit. They do a lovely ocean fragrance
Ooh its so hard to find an ocean fragrance thank you!

If you like ozonic, ocean fragrances you'd probably like St Eval, especially Sea Salt and Sea Mist.

Diptyque Pomander signals Xmas for me. I love a lot of the fragrances, Baies & Feu de Bois for autumn & Lys is lovely in summer.

Diptyque Bais actually made me feel ill :(

I love Roses but it really isn't a strong fragrance.

I've had better ones from TK.

If you find after your first Diptyque candle you develop a massive habit (there really ought to be a 12 step programme) then another couple of suggestions for something with vanilla but also with some complexity are Safran from Byredo or Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford. They are both amazing.

The best candles in the world. The Diptyque Figueur is my favourite. I have the smaller one that retails at about £27 and it has lasted ages. It also doesn’t take so long to melt to the edge, so you don’t have to burn it for so long. The scent really lasts so I wouldn’t need to burn it for more than an hour anyway.

I had a rose scented Byredo one once and it was amazing too.

True Grace Seashell is fantastic too.
