Looked on John Lewis, Next, Matalan, IKEA and Anthropologie and cannot find a single one I like, can anyone recommend anywhere?

Try Asda cheap but reasonable quality.
Will deliver free of charge to Asda near you if you order online

white company

What kind of thing are you after? I rate John Lewis for plain white, and TK Maxx can be great for really upmarket stuff. I recently bought this from M & S and it’s lovely irl.

Primark? We have a couple and they wash/iron really well. Or how about Zara Home?

Mellowmushroom · 06/08/2021 16:35

Thanks everyone will check these out! I think I’m looking for something quite vibrant that will also fit in a ‘modern Victorian’ terrace bedroom

We get most of ours from IKEA.

Oh the days of bhs, always great quality and real bargains when a sale was on - sorry that’s no help 😂

Wayfair have tons and from an impressive variety of different brands. However check the material composition before you buy as I ended up buying polycotton when I only wanted 100% cotton so had to return. The tropical print Monsoon stuff is lovely. I second the recommend for George at Asda stuff by @Starisnotanumber, I've got a really nice organic cotton ditsy leaf print set in green that I love and it was really reasonable. Might not be bright enough to be what you're looking for though.

I like the look of the Sara Miller duvet covers. Not bought one though, yet….

Suzysunflower · 08/08/2021 08:44

Do you like Marimekko? I have a couple and the quality and durability is excellent.

VenusClapTrap · 08/08/2021 09:38

I like Designers Guild. You might like Emma J Shipley too if you like bright and bold.

Bhs home is still online. A couple of bedding sets that are alright maybe. www.bhs.com/textiles/bedding-sets

I bought one from Amazon the other day. Wasn't looking for one it just popped up, I liked the pattern and it was less than £20 for a king size. Wasn't expecting much but it is so nice. It came rolled in a box and has a zip at the bottom instead of poppers. I washed it before I put it on and tumble dried it and it is so soft and not a crease in sight so I'm now looking for more!

justthecat · 08/08/2021 10:20

Thanks, she wore yellow, I’ll look

Puffalicious · 08/08/2021 10:24

WeAreTheHeroes · 08/08/2021 10:26

Try Just Linen online - they have a wide range.

Cosywithcandles · 09/08/2021 07:59

Dusk.

I was apprehensive as a lot of Instagram influencers seem to promote them, but I bought a duvet set it was reasonably priced and had just the right amount of softness and crispness. It's held up well in the wash.

Cosywithcandles · 09/08/2021 08:00

Oh just seen you're looking for something vibrant. I think Dusk are mainly plain white.
