My DP got really into cooking over lockdown. He has now acquired several large pans to enable him to do some elaborate things.

We live in a not very spacious flat (plan to move but various reasons why we can't right now). We also rent so can't stick shelves up.

We need a set of free standing shelves or a cupboard that could fit these large pans in, otherwise I can just see them getting damaged or broken .... if not that we're going to be tripping over them as long as we're here. The kitchen we have is tiny so I want somewhere to be able to store these items outside of that space.

I'm struggling to find anything on ebay, what should I search for? Everything seems to be either very narrow and fragile for little decorations or big sideboards for huge amounts of items. Are there any keywords that spring to mind?

To give an idea the biggest pans are 16-20 inches wide and 13 inches deep.

Any ideas?

Pan stand or pan organiser ? Something that does this but with a more streamlined look ?

dresser

Kitchen dresser?

hanging pot shelf

What about this?

saucepan stand

Gabby chefs on telly hang them from the ceiling. Would that work?

If they're nice pans it can look really fancy. A bit countryside style so may not fit but definite space saver.

In my flat I had a thing like a multilayered cake stand to put them on.

"Saucepan tidy"?

Like this but nowhere near as fancy!

I used Ikea's Ivar shelves in last kitchen when needed more storage. They have 30 cm deep ones if don't want anything too deep.

What about the type of heavy-duty wire shelving that you get in commercial kitchens? This sort of thing: www.nisbets.co.uk/kitchenware-and-knives/kitchen-storage-and-shelving/modular-shelving-kits/_/a33-3

They are modular so you can find the exact configuration that you want and you can get various types of shelves, eg a wine rack shelf and hooks for utensils. We had a big one in our rental and I think they look quite cool in an industrial kind of way. When we got ours the choice was stainless steel only but there seem to be a few colours now.

Isn't it a hutch?

Thank you everyone, furiously searching!
