Just that, we're redecorating the house and Pinterest has lots of hanging plants + pampas grass but where do you buy them?

We’ve bought things from here before and they’re quite good.

Beware pampas - it’s supposed to be a secret sign for swingers…

I got my pampas grass stems from etsy xx

Pampas grass plants from a garden centre. Cut pampas grass stems - not so sure

B&Q, Homebase & IKEA all sell devil's ivy. Bit hit & miss, sometimes they have it, sometimes not, it's very tolerant and grows fast.

Over the last year I have bought house plants (inc Devils Ivy) from Patch, Beards&Daisies and Crocus and I recommend all three companies.

Pampas grass as a plant is hateful. Rumoured code for swingers, which even if true still has some people having a chuckle. The leaves will cut you up.
Someone in my street has two huge plants and people have been helping themselves to the stems. She doesn’t care as she hates it.

I've just bought a couple of pothos/ devils ivy from Moose plant shop and can't rate them highly enough for quality and for customer service. Ditto Friends or Friends who sell tiny plants for a fiver. Mine - monsteras - are less than a month old and have been repotted already as they are growing so well.

Pampas grass?

Front garden.

Make sure you have a bowl for car keys.

Make black forest gateaux for the other couples

Grin

(I actually quite like Pampas grass!)

Pothos (devil's ivy) has been a popular houseplant for decades. It grows like stink with water snd even indirect light. I have loved it for a long time.

I think it cleans the air also.

If you want something spiky a Peace Lily or spathophylium might be good. They also clean the air and are quite easy to care for.

@LoveFall that's interesting, I got a devils ivy recently from hey pots and it's already dying back, I'm usually good with plants but this one just isn't happy, do you have any tips?

LoveFall · 26/06/2021 21:44

Maybe too much water? Most of the time if a plant is struggling it is because it has been given too much water (by me).

I had one in my office at work and I used to forget to water it. It thrived anyway.

I have three types of hanging Devil’s Ivy from Patch Plants.

They give them cute names so I have Rapunzel, Sylvia and Pascal.
