Kahrs wooden flooring in toilet ok for boys?

Thinking of having kahrs engineered wood or similar across whole ground floor which is about 1400sq feet. Just unsure of having in toilet with a 7 and 11 year old boys. Even with a wall hung wc. Will urine splashes stain or not work? Any experience? I

It will work if you make your boys clean up after themselves every time they 'splash' pee.

Decorating the loo with pee isn't half as much fun when you have to clean up the mess yourself.

Their future partners will thank you.

Wooden floors are very slippery when wet. Fine if downstairs is just wc, terrible idea if you’ve also a shower or bath.

I’d go for a wood effect Karndean / Amtico / LVT. You can probably find one that’s very similar to the engineered wood or that will complement it.
