Anyone having problems with furniture orders from Swoon?

Just that really. Ordered a tv unit in early February, delivery due April. Got a despatch notification a month ago - and then nothing. Am passed from pillar to post when I get in touch and am now trying to get a refund. Deeply frustrating and a lesson learned - won't ever order from them again.

I wouldn’t recommend them either. I ordered a coffee table last March, and we didn’t get it until October in the end. And they never called to say it was going to be late. I had to keep ringing. They did knock off delivery charge and then and other £50 in the ens but I wish we hadn’t bothered. I found the call centre team quite helpful but they couldn’t make the stuff arrive any quicker.

It also wasn’t great quality when it did arrive.

Thanks. I just cancelled today (though need to keep an eye on the payment actually arriving ..). Ironically two hours later I got a notification that it would be delivered within 24 hours - though given I got an identical email to no avail a month ago I will not hold my breath.

I don't understand how a company can be so shambolic and yet continue to trade?

what was the coffee table @Borington btw? as I was about to order Mackay... says 2-3 weeks which is why I was going to order. its normally months!

I've had so many issues with Swoon unfortunately. Their furniture is so nice but delivery is an absolute joke!

We ordered some items last June, they were due last August but they've been significantly delayed. Upshot is that they're due for delivery this month, nearly a whole year since we ordered!

It was an Eide coffee table. Was supposed to be delivered in May last year...

We got a TV unit from there, came damaged on the doors and with wonky handles! Ended up having to send it back, really wasn't happy about it as it must have been packaged like that, no way would it have sustained damage during delivery (it was the most packaged object I have ever received, I suppose that's one good thing about it)

Oakfurnitureland is really fast delivery and nice quality furniture. I've ordered a few things from there and their customer service is great. Ooh, I should ask for commission. 😀

I'm having the same issue with a tv unit from Made, despatch date keeps getting knocked back. If it arrives when promised it will be close to 7 months!
