My garden table gave up the ghost do I have bought a lovely new one but the existing chairs are sound. It seems a shame to paint the table but I can't see any other way to match it all. Any ideas please for colours Etc?
Thanks for your help

Use a bright blue plastic cloth or paint the chairs a bit darker or brighter-I feel like a blue a couple of shades darker, a mid blue, would be better.

@ceilangsand thanks for the reply.
I am wondering about just painting the frame and legs and leaving the top?

Could you just get a pale blue umbrella to tie the colours in. Natural wood tones with everything so I don't think it looks like they are from different sets.

I like it. Looks mismatched and quirky. I'd get some terracotta plant pots with bright colours for the middle.

A matching sun umbrella and seat cushions would work to tie in the areas above the table with below it.

I would not be painting any part of a brand new wood table (save that for 5 years down the line...)

I like it as it is.
