How to arrange furniture in a Victorian terrace dining room

Hi I'm buying a small Victorian terrace. The dining room is full of doors.
Pocket doors to the lounge, hall door, kitchen door, patio doors to the garden.

I'd like an extendable dining table and a comfy chair to look out on the garden.

Has anyone managed more than a dining table in theirs?

Are you set on having the rooms that way round? I had a house like this and put the dining table in the front room and had a sofa in the middle, open bit, with a tv unit at the bottom of the stairs.

@TattiePants I love that. I've a radiator cover on the wall between the kitchen and hall but aside from that I can do that

I thought about swapping the rooms but the front room has more walls and corners available and the fire works in there too
