If you have an Ivory kitchen what colour paint did you have for the walls?

Paint make and name if you have it would be great! I’m looking for a fairly neutral/light colour and must have every paint tester known to humanity. I can’t tell what goes 😭

I’m really sorry but this isn’t a post with the answer. I want to know the same.
In my last house we had Dulux Egyptian Cotton, which worked well with the Ivory units and fake wood laminate worktops.
Now we have Ivory (I have no idea why my phone has capitalised) but have an unusual dark green granite.... I’m not sure Egyptian Cotton will work....

Not got one now but when I did I had a duck egg blue/eau de nil type shade

We used Dulux Jurassic stone which actually went on lighter and slightly more green than it looks but it's bright and airy.

Thank you so much for your answers - I will buy more testers!

I currently have a duck egg colour but it's ready to be decorated and it will be a sunny yellow.

If you buy testers I find it's better to limit to three and paint large patches on all walls so you can view in all lights.

Dulux Timeless. It's a soft white.

I think it looks really nice but I'm not the most adventurous decorator.

Yoffel · 18/03/2021 11:12

I’ve tried Timeless but it’s too close to the Ivory of my units without being an exact match if you see what I mean. It looks like I’ve tried to colour match and failed.

Going to see if I can find some beiges which aren’t too dark or very pale duck egg or sage green colours.

Companions for a colour similar to Dulux Timeless - (top row)

We have Dulux Peppermint Candy, which (despite the name) isn't green, it's more of a duck egg blue - seems to be a popular choice based on PPs! I really love it - we re-fitted the whole kitchen 2 years ago, but I had the same colour put back on the walls. It's vaguely beachy and very calming.

F&B cooking apple green.

If I were to repaint now, I would choose either a fresh blue or a muted pink.

We have Dulux Willow Tree.

Op can you post the colour of your cabinets? “Ivory” could mean all sorts of colours.

I like little greene since they have their popular colours in the colour then a darker mid tone and then an even deeper tone. I like slaked lime.

BedsorestoaSloth · 18/03/2021 22:17

Dulux caramel blush 6. It's not grey or green because I'm not trendy but I love it. Warm but neutral and not in your face. We have ivory cabinets and light grey quartz surfaces.

This is my Ivory/porcelain kitchen with Fleetwood grey nuance. No idea why it’s called that, nothing grey about it IMO. But we love it anyway!
